Default HUMMM . . . . Question about kits and stuff?

I read post on differentmodifications being made to Jaguars. Minor stuff
Like pads & rotors, HID kits, air filters and such.

No engine or frame modification of the sort, just the small stuff.

Does that void any of the factory warranty?

And does the Jaguar have to be serviced at a Jaguar Dealer “oil , filter, tire change stuff”
to keep the warranty from being voided.

Thanks for your help in advance.

No, your car does not need to go to the dealer to maintain the warranty. Keep your reciepts to prove that you have the oil changed or keep the filter and oil reciepts for proof if you do it yourself. Also, you do not need to use factory filters either. Just keep your receipts as proof.

However, any upgrades will fall to the supplier's warranty and Jaguar will not be responsible. If you put HID lights, Jaguar will not cover them but your supplier should.

Ditto on what Ken said…keep those receipts. This is my first Jag, so honestly I don’t know how they will act as a ‘premium’ brand. I have heard horror stories from non ‘premium’ brands trying to void warranties for petty chit such as Cold Air Intakes (CAI). According to the magnusson act, the dealer must prove that the modifications you did somehow caused a problem in order for them to legally/ethically void your warranty.

Have fun modding, I know I will.
