Default Just Like a Woman

Cars, especially Jaguars have been compared to women over the years. This comparison seems apt as Jaguars are generally quite beautiful and give their owners a lot of pleasure when everything goes right. Like women, they require a bit of maintenance, but hopefully not on the order of Paris Hilton's requirements. Modern Jaguars also come equipped with a fairly robust set of nag functions such as seatbelt warnings, door messages, bulb failures and the like.

I've found that in some cases Jaguars have a mind of their own and will continue to press the issue until they get their way. A case in point is the automatic climate control. Even after you go to a manual mode to set the heat without the automatic function, any adjustment or stopping and starting up the car will re-engage the automatic function. I finally gave up and let the car have her way.

I THINK that can be programmed out in IDS. I'll have to check when I get home.

Take care,

George

Nice analogy Mike. I refer to my STR as a "she" because in the big cat world the female is the primary hunter...the male often bogarts off the females kills. LOL! But true.
