Minor Cruise Control Issue
This is a minor issue in several ways and it a question of curiosity as well.
First I am well aware of getting weird error messages (abs, ect) when the battery starts to go. That happened and replaced 3 months ago with new AGM battery. All of those problems disappeared.
I have noticed and this ONLY occurs the first time of the day that I start the car (not at any other time or start) and it is a quick flash and I had to take time and be ready to to read it (thank goodness I am a speed reader). However I get the message above the time that flashes as I first start that says "cruise not available". It goes away and that is that- flashes for about 1-1.5 seconds.
I have tested my cruise control immediately after this start - no problem. I have tested the cruise at other times of the day- no problem with anything.
I never use the cruise and would imagine I have used it less than 1% of the time I have driven the car.
However I know the warning is coming on (albeit very quickly) and that does mean something.
I have zero other problems with the car at current (minus the beginning of a potential sagging headliner- completely unrelated however).
Any ideas or thoughts?
Thanks as always
