I have a S Type Jag v8 automatic and it will not start.

I have had a warning light on for a couple of days that says Gear Box fault and next week it is going into the garage to have the gearbox sorted out but now the car is refusing to start.

I took the battery out and fully charged it but that has not worked.

When i try to start the car up it just makes a horrible news and will not start.

I have just been checking the fuses and still half way through as it has just started raining. But i have come across a fuse that has blown which is the positive crankcase ventilation heater, but i do not think that it will not start because of that.

Can anyone give me any suggestions on what it might be so i can sort it out please
