A friend of mine just put the Falkens on his S Type. He says they are great. I had them on an Audi TT and they performed fine.

Go to tirerack.com and search the size you want. Treadwear rating is the most important to me. I have a low 180 (sticky) tire. If you want good life get something over 300.

I just noticed the $100 a tire limit.

GOOD LUCK

I paid $160 and they were some of the cheapest...

Everything in my household wears Yokohamas.

Check out the S-Drive tire. May fit your price point. I'm currently running Avid TRZ on an XJ40 and ADVAN S4 on an XJ8. I've just fitted S-Drives on my Mitsubishi Starions and they've been great.

$100, won't get you a high quality tire. You're gonna need to make a compromise in either grip or longevity. Every car I own rides on Toyo Proxes and they are fantastic, even better than the good year eagle F1s which i used to ride on.

Try the Tire Rack website. You can sort by price range, rating or type tire (all season vs summer). $100 per tire may be a bit too low. For about $125 or so you will have a much larger selection.

hey dont know how true this may be but i heard that numbers are manufacturers designations and not set in stone by the tire establishment by as a whole..

you know like 300 for pirellie is diffrent from a falkam 300

I've got Kumho Ecstas on my S-Type. They're very reasonable, quiet, and seem to be wearing well.
