Hi everyone Im new to the forum and kinda new to Jaguar's Ive got an 03 type s and its in need of a new battery it still has the factory battery and its outta life. Is there anything I need to worry about re setting when I reconnect the new battery? I know these cars have a security system and I just wanna know what Im in for when I change it out.

 

Radio stations or maybe just clock, as memory serves me. Nothing major to worry about.

And the one-touch up/down windows, but trivial to do.

Look out for the little vent tube and the hose from the battery - again trivial once you know about them.

if you want to enable one-touch up and down, just hold the button down for couple more seconds after it goes down/up. That will enable the one-touch up/down.
