I also need that little black cover that is in the door pull on the drivers rear door. Mines missing I'll try and snap a pic of the passenger side so you know what I'm talking about. It looks like a half circle and it just covers a screw in the pull on the armrest.
You mean in the armrest, the black rubber thing you pry out, so you can get to the screw to remove the door panel right?

I'll confirm it's there, (and black - this one has a tan gut). And let you know.

Take care,

George

Always gotta be the wiseguy eh Rick??

As far as the spoiler, Ironically it would cost more to have this one painted to the right color, than the pre painted copy from ebay goes for..... SO I think this one is gonna go with the trunk lid .

Take care,

George

I can get you a couple... But I don't have the facilites to a) Do frame work and b) paint. - I've never tried my hand at it, and I know it's a learned art.

Plus although my labor is free, and I can turn wrenches pretty well, I just don't have the skill with the body work. I've done basic body work, but nothing on this level.

You have the rack, and the spray booth (and associated breathing equipment) to do it right and safely. That's another concern. The numbers just don't add up having to farm out the paint and a couple other thing.

Especially considering I'm going to end up with a salvage titled STR when the dust settled.

Take care,

George

I think they are all black. I have a Dove interior and mine are black and I've seen a tan interior and they were black on there also.
Here is what the drivers door one looks like. Its the black dirty piece.

And here is my missing one which is the back drivers door.

Also I know you said the windsheild was fubared but if there any of the rectangle pieces that go here laying around still I need just one.

Before I sign off for the night,

mods please do not move this post to the "for sale" section, George is offering parts to the fellow S Typers at a fraction of cost, from his status on the site, I believe that this post should stay here in the section that most S type members can benefit from.

Thank you

Quick question Rick... Why would you need lugs from a specific wheel??? Just real curious about that...

George: Just when I thought you didn't have any more suprises...LOL

Hey... If you want another good parter... Keep your eyes peeled for any of the Chrysler LX (300, Magnum, Charger, Challenger) SRT8 cars..If you do find one PM me.. There is another Forum where SRT parts fly out the door... The SRT cars were done similar to the Jaguar R cars... Beefed up parts, Brembo brakes, H.O. engine (6.1), ect. While better performing, just about everything bolts to a standard car (I'm replacing two front control arms this weekend and bought the SRT parts) so owners buy up the parts all the time....

Still... real neat thing your doing...

George,

If the centre heater vent in the dash is in good shape I'll have that.

The plastic chrome is chipping off mine and it bugs me every time I look at it.

That's understandable. It's pretty tough for me to make much even doing all the work. But I see lots of good parts there. And the auto wreckers don't give that stuff away..trust me. Especially a Jag. Doors, center post cut, side bags...that would fix a sideswipe or T-bone. Back bumper assembly, deck lid and tail light would fix a light rear hit where the quarters would pull. The one you got is definitely a parts car. I'd say out of every hundred I look at, only 3 or 4 are what I would call rebuildable.

I been doing this with a parts Grand Prix. I used the air bags and some front stuff to fix a frt hit. Been watching for a while and just got one poked in the left rear that I can use my quarter section, back bumper, tail light and suspension pieces on.

Just for giggles, check the rear seat belts. Mine were deployed and pulled tight against the seat backs. Sent out for repair but still waiting on the return.

Good luck with it. Only other thing on mine would be the right rear muffler. Lady evidently backed into something and bent the pipe. I'm gonna try straightening it. STR is probably different anyway.
