Parking assist

I'm trying to find out where the Fuse is for the Rear Parking Assist.

I waited until I received my newly acquired Owners Hand Book to go through it to see if I could find out before I posted, but to no avail.

In the book it talks about the Parking Assist and how it works, but in the fuse location pages (Engine-Occupants-Trunk compartments) it doesn't have a listing for Parking Assist anywhere that I can find--unless I'm missing something--a high possibility. There could be another reason it doesn't sound--make the "Beeping" noise--, and I would appreciate some help.

Thanks.

Cheers

I have the same problem with my STR, however the fuse is good, from what I understand the sensors are wired in series, and if one doesnt work, none of them will work.

Its easy to check if they are getting power. Put the car in Reverse, and place your ear to the sensors, you should be able to hear a small clicking noise.

Anyways. Should be Fuse 29 which is a 5 amp in the primary junction fuse box which is by the passengers right foot

abgusaf;

My hand book says the rear [side] sensors will sound off if something is near in a garage--say along the wall, but will turn off as it's passed and then the rear most will alarm if something is in the way. So, being wired in series may or may not be true. check your hand book and let me know what you think......

Cheers

Power and ground for each sensor is shared. Output from the sensor is individual to the Parking Assist module.

Thanks BOX, that should help us both.
