Rear Parking Sensors problem

I have just bought a 2004 S-type.
The only problem is that the rear parking sensors don’t appear to be working.
Any tips on how to identify the root cause?

Ignition on, engine not running place car in R. Put your ear next to each sensor. You should hear clicking from each sensor.

The sensor that is not clicking is your culprit.

Otherwise, hook up software that can read the specific code(s) related to your parking aid system.
