Hello. Does anybody know how much torque can the stock clutch/gearbox handle? I have ~230 000km on the car. I would like to get a stage 1/chip on the car, so I wondered if it can handle it.

 

You may want to post your enquiry in the UK/Eire forum as most of the members here are from North America where Jaguar never offered a diesel variant of the X200/X202 for sale.

Both the ZF 6HP26 & the manual ZF S6-53 were rated at 600 Nm. A stage 1 map will take you to roughly 240 BHP & 385ish lb/ft. With 230,000 Km though, I'd be careful & the limit's not the clutches, it's the input shaft IIRC.
