S-type ignition wire retainer Clip/ring
 

There is a plastic wire retaining ring that slides over the valve cover bolts to hold the ignition wire assemble in place on both the right and left valve covers. I have called two dealerships about the part one tells me it is part of a bolt assembly that costs $17 and the other said that it is a generic part that they don't have a reference on. Can anyone tell me where I can find these for a resonable price?

Try a big box auto parts store. I would ask the people rather than looking for it on your own.

I have called jaguar customer care. They said they would get back to me today or tomorrow. Do you have contact info for jepc. I am going to take the part to the autoparts stores around here and see if they know the part I have thought about replacing it with a nylon wire strap that is easily found and removable incase this needs to be accessed again.
