I got into my car and noticed that what looks like the gel is begining to discolor inside the glass in the rear view mirror. I am pretty sure there is no way to fix this issue. I just do no not want it to start leaking onto my console! Anyone know of any replacemnts they use, or from where they bought them. Jag bits and other jag resources are well over $350.00 for a new mirror! thanks guys.

 

Martin, search Ebay for a used unit - same thing happened to me - there is no way to fix it... this is a common failure on these mirrors.

 

Don't let it leak onto the car as it's corrosive aka Dino Blood...

Yes you can get your mirror fixed for I think $100.00 Use the link below and call them on the phone to verify. What they do is repair your mirror and return it to you.

I put my finer across the bottom and saw that it was starting to leak, so I removed it quickly before it does. Now I do not have a mirror, but will go on ebay and purchase a used unit.
