Where do I find this vehicle speed sensor on my 2000 s-type 4.0

 

Probably done via the ABS module & the ABS sensors.

So you're probably looking for something else - what exactly gave this error and what was the code?

 

This from my i939 icarsoft reader, under drivers door module, code U1041 SCF vehicile speed signal invalid or missing data.
Is it in the drivers door or elsewhere ???

 

And if you clear the error how long till it comes back?

What driving issue(s) are there?

 

I get the same code...sdd traces it to a faulty ddm...I also have a rolling key fob out of sync code ...my ddm is faulty...even a reprogram won't cure it...have a used ddm coming tomorrow...will let you know how it goes after install and programming

 

Used module came with 2 broken pins...waiting for resolution..took mine out for inspection and it has a broken pin also...probably from a previous repair...fobs have never worked under my ownership...delay in repair
