2001 S Type 4L auto with 54k miles. My wife was driving along and the Jag just dies on her. I have the Jag flat bed to my garage and start to work on her. So I check the Schrader valve and no pressure, then check the pump fuse and relay and they are both good. Sometime being overconfident is not good...so I replaced the fuel pump. I knew I was in trouble when I tested the fuel pump that I removed and it worked. So now not so confident I pulled out the code reader and found U1262 along with other codes. Also the security light on the dash is blinking Code 1_6. So the PATS system is preventing the fuel pump from working. I have two questions.... Where is the PATS system located? and How do I do I it to communicate to the fuel Pump?

You sound to have a fault but not in PATS itself.

I have Code 16: SCP fault between PCM and Transceiver (this may allow cranking/no start)
