I would suggest you may have a partial break in the power line to the light. Continuity check the line from the module to the light and then compare the reading with the working side.

You are correct. Your wheel speed sensors are the first port of call, check the reluctor rings also.

While you're checking, put the battery on charge just in case.

The height sensors are pretty much waterproof but it wouldn't hurt to check the connectors. It's the ABS warning that makes me think first of the battery and second of the wheel sensor.

Well everyone seems to agree that it sounds ok. My next thing would be to allow the engine to idle up to temp keeping a close eye on how she goes and after that a short drive.

2. Just follow the diagram on the colours, you can't go wrong.

For the resistors, disconnect the module then with your multimeter on ohms put the leads either side of the resistor. Measure them all, they should read the same ohmic value.
