after driving it for 3 days the stumbling behavior went away.I know the car has been sitting for long time. The engine is a 60000mi engine just installed 1 week ago along with a rebuilt transmission....

Go back and review the TPS that Bob forwarded. Then Google search and review the Robert DIY YouTube video on cleaning the TPS.

I still think there is a broken or bent wire in the TPS circuit.

Finally got time to get the car to the shop. Ended up being water in the fuel. The drain was clogged in the fuel fill area and with all the rain we have had, it filled up and went into the tank....

Gus is a genius.

So, to recap, the car shuts down when I turn on the headlights and barely runs when I press on the brake. Otherwise, it just runs terribly.

He always got a VIN mismatch message. The older 4.0 engine cars...
