While I have EZ-Outs (an oxymoron), I also have and usually have good results using a left hand drill. The heat and vibrations often cause the broken bolt or stud to come out.

The heater is on the engine side of the firewall, in the middle. There are two hoses and a vacuum line attached to it. Don't remember if it can be moved manually.

Also check the crank sensor in the front of the engine and the flywheel sensor at the rear of the engine. Either one will prevent it from starting. Using an ohm meter, they should read about 700.
