in the Series 3, there is a bracket that looks...

in the Series 3, there is a bracket that looks almost like a flattened "Z" and once you set the seat bottom into the frame, the bracket grabs the lip of the seat bottom exactly at the front center...

The rail the seat is attached to that moves would otherwise hit the riser. It needs the space to get past the riser.
