The code I was getting didn't mention a short to ground or a high resistance ground, so just by that logic, and good continuity I have to assume the ground is good.

I think the resistance is up...

P0193: after doing pinpoint checks everything looked good. Seems the harness was getting pinched between coolant lines, causing an intermittent short....

I just removed and painted mine a few weeks ago. A can of black bumper paint from the auto store worked well.

Not sure if the 5.0 models are the same, but the 4.2 panel has 1 long 'clip' that runs...

Take Ranchero's advice above. I had this problem a few days ago when I replaced my daytime lights with LEDs. Wires inside there were chafed beyond belief. Wish I had a pic.

Yeah good info Sean and kj07xk . Made replacing mine easy - pry up on the tab and turn. Mine didn't break. I got a new pipe also because it comes with the o-ring for the cap too. And a new cap....

I always put the car in neutral, then apply the e-brake, then release the foot brake, then put it in Park. That way you can check if there is any roll from a hill or a bad e-brake before it puts too...
