Sam its a common problem with the brake light switch above the pedal.

Search for that and you will see that, other than it being in a cramped location, the fix is simple.

Here in FL for about $100 in court costs you can get in front of a judge for claims up to $2000. No lawyers needed. Just make your case.

The key is keeping tabs on tire pressure and alignment. For me the pressure sweet spots were 29 rear and 32 front. Plus I bought a lifetime alignment deal and went regularly to keep it in spec.
