Am I correct in thinking that the rotor position in the cap is adjustable? Looks like the thing is held in there with some sort of screw and nut affair.

On my 5.3 with the Marelli ignition, how important is the gasket JLM1910 that goes under the distributor cap?

IE, there was none when I got there. Should there be one when I leave?

Question left front wheel well cover questions

On the plastic cover over the charcoal canister in the left front wheel well, on mine at least, is a compartment with a cover. I'd post a picture but I guess I'm too new.

Ok, just ordered a pair of t-stats for my 91 5.3. They sent me the Motorads, but without the jiggle pin/bleed hole.

I can drill the bleed hole into it. Is no thing. But what's everybody else's...

I am restoring the engine driven fan that the DPO made go away.
I think I see how the fan bearing fits in there, but does anybody have the front of their engine apart far enough to post a picture?

I have the radiator out, so I will most likely do something with the pump, probably rebuild it myself.

The radiator will be going out for a cleaning and rodding.

Gotta snouse around and see if...
