Default Orange County F-type drive which Ralphwg and tberg "crashed!"

Ralph and I invited ourselves to tag along on an F-type drive through some scenic areas of Irvine, Laguna Hills, Laguna Beach, and Dana Point. Believe it or not 28 (my unofficial count) Jaguars showed up. 24 F-types, our 2 XKRs, and 2 XFRs. Ralph and I, easily double the age of most of the F-type owners, enjoyed seeing the next generation of Jag owners, while we still had a few tricks of our own. Enjoy some of the pictures of the cars and some of the scenery.

Great to see the turn out. I worked for Toshiba there in Irvine.

LoudHogRider,
I've been on some of these canyon runs where, unfortunately, "crashing" meant what you thought, but a very warm summer day near the ocean in Laguna Beach insured that there was so much traffic that nobody could get into too much trouble. Enjoyable, nonetheless! And when have you ever seen 28 Jaguar owners ever get together outside of a British Car show day?

No, I sure haven't seen that many beautiful Jaguars in one setting. And the pics were truly appreciated.

There is an All-European Car Show held here in Omaha at the Lauritzen Gardens (a very beautiful setting). I went several years ago with my XK8 and I was one of three Jaguars at the event. There were a lot of very cool vehicles on display, and my lovely bride has expressed interest in attending again this year. I'll bring the Canon and attempt to capture and share some pics with everyone, but the event isn't until September 10th.

Until then, rubber side down and remember to look through the turns!

Default Nice Pictures

Aw that looked fun. Can't beat the sound of those new Ftype Rs. XKs held their own in the looks department.
