Default without panoramic roof?

Anyone own a car without the panoramic roof that can comment? Does the car space feel confined? Regrets? Test driven some with, but leaning towards ordering one without.

Thank you in advance

Why would you omit it? I don't think there is any cost savings is there? Myself and others would not have accepted one without it so if you have any considerations for future resale you will want to simply leave it in the order otherwise you might have a harder time selling it when the time does come.

I believe at one point in time it was a cost saving option or something along those lines. Originally Canada got them as standard, with the panoramic as an upgrade.

I bought mine pre-owned... No panoramic roof. It had all the other details (miles, colors, wheels, trim, brakes, options, etc) exactly as I wanted, and the timing was right, so I went for it. I don't mind missing the roof, however I know some people might insist on it.

Well, like Ivan Drago with his fights I want a car for me. Not for someone else.

It it is an option on the MY18s, costs extra and weighs extra.

I have the carbon fiber roof, I was worried that I would regret not having the panoramic roof. No regrets at all, there is plenty of room and as a bonus the car does not heat up in the summer. You really cannot go wrong with this car, don’t sweat it.

I didn't want a panoramic roof but had to accept one because for 2016 it was standard, with no option to "downgrade."

I keep the shade closed almost all the time. I get distracting reflections of lane striping on the glass and the inside of the car gets *really* hot in the sun. I measured 176F on the leading edge of the sliding shade last summer.

I think most people like it, but I'd have been happier without.

I've got it. It is open all winter and closed all summer. I like looking through it but my wife and daughter prefer it closed.

ultimately while it seemed a little confined when I first closed it, after a few days you dont notice the difference so it wouldnt bother me. If you want the look of it, you could wrap the roof black.

Last year when I bought the F-Type, the pano roof was an option and I paid nearly USD:5000 for it. And it's now standard for all 2017 model here in Taiwan.

I have the pano roof and like the option of additional feeling of spaciousness, particularly with two people in the car. From a pure design perspective the car has a classic beauty without it, but I'd keep mine given the choice.

mine. I prefer the non pano roof. Doesn’t feel confined or too dark. I prefer the look of the body colored roof and the w eight savings at the top of the car is a nice benefit

I prefer without the pana mainly due to the way the car looks without it. I don't feel confined, and lots of light etc.

Guess you should sit in both and decide.

All the convertibles have the extreme panoramic roof.

I have the pano roof, no issues and I had no choice anyway. Bought it used.

BUT! The standard metal roof looks best by far. Classic look, probably a lot lighter than the glass pano.

And with the metal roof, it just begs for some nice stripes!

You could get the roof wrapped if you want

I'm 6'3 and don't feel confined in my fixed roof. I prefer the lighter weight on the track anyways

Maybe I'm weird, but I always keep mine open only about 8-10 inches. Give it a try

No pano roof and I don't think I would miss it. I have other cars with sunroofs and the blinds are almost always closed.
