Default Didn't buy an F-Type

I had been looking for (semi-seriously) an F-Type to add to the stable. But I had also been wanting an Aston Martin for quite a long time. Found a 2015 V8 Vantage with 13k miles and pulled the trigger. It's my first Aston so I'm beginning that steep learning curve. Not any photos yet as it was just delivered a week ago. Here's one parked beside the garage before putting it inside. Really looking forward to some top-down driving weather..........if we ever get any

I think yours has the same interior size as the F type. Isn't it?

Congrats! I had been watching and bidding on BaT auctions for several years for a DB9, refining my desired choice over time as I learned more. Then a few months ago I heard about the ‘dreaded DB9 engine tick’, and after researching I ended my quest for that beautiful V-12. Your V-8 doesn’t have that issue. Enjoy!

What’s not to love about a car with flame throwers? (Well… maybe the things that got lost along the way, like windshield wipers, traction control, automatic air conditioning, etc. Propane and oxygen tanks mounted in the trunk always sounds like a great idea.)

Aston resolved the engine tick with the 2009+ model year.

Yes, the early gen had the Sportshift I gearbox. Starting about 2013 (I think) they had the Sportshift 2 trans. I know my 2015 has the 2 trans, a much improved version.
