Suspension fault and adaptive Suspension module.
Hi,
I have a 2001 xkr. Recently, after driving a few metres, ' suspension fault' message shows alongside the amber light on the dash. I understand there is a programmable module with the adaptive suspension.
My Jag specialist has plugged in his computer and states module is faulty. Can anyone please advise if the module may need reprogramming or replacing? Recently I have needed to reprogram my spare key and was wondering if this could be related?
Thanks.

I don’t know about reprogramming the module, many who use the standard shocks as a lower cost replacements to the adaptive shocks just unplug it with no ill effects.
the XKR shocks will just default to the stiff setting when they fail, so it you can live with that just unplug the module. The problem might just be in the shocks , not the module.
