No that is factory Caliper color..When I did the brakes about 6 months ago, I just cleaned them real well and made them look new again...But that is a statement to how low dirt these Akebono pads are...

Me 2.............they look great. I had to do them cos every time I was any distance away from the car my eye kept getting drawn to the nice shiny tailpipes, but, it meant that I saw these shitty old tired lookin back boxes too. Didnt take long to do and well worth it

Wait they changed the AWD system in 2004? Is that for the US too? So if my 03 has a real viscous then its similar to Audi's system.
The car doesn't feel like its stable sometimes and that the front end is kind of light. Felt a little uneasy taking corners, but then I learned, even though it feels light, the car just STICKS to the road no matter what you do. Once I got used to this, I can drive my car more agressively now.

I think its ok mate.....traded her in a few days ago and currently have a Ford Mondeo ST TDCI as per the thread in the X type section I think it was.
