Default Anyone from Aberdeen/shire?

Hi all,

I've been on here for a few weeks now, was wondering if there's any other members from the Aberdeen area? I'm living in Aberdeen and see alot of other Jags here, particularly XFs, usually see at least 3/4 of them per day, was wondering if any of the owners are on here? I tend to flash the lights when I see another Jag so you may have seen me.

Hey, yeah I'm based in the 'deen. I'll keep my eyes open for you, I'm in a midnight black, '08 plate XKR coupe. There are a few members on jaguarforum.co.uk who are based in Aberdeen, not sure if any of them are members on here apart from me though.

Thanks for the info, hadn't thought of that to be honest. I knew there were several Aberdeens in the US, didn't realise there was one in Australia aswell.

There's an Aberdeen in Hong Kong! For ages I would go to the BBC weather website, type "Aberdeen" in the location box and it would want to default to that one instead of Scotland...

It can be quite difficult to track down local people to you Andrew and for many various reasons.

As stated there are Aberdeens all over the world, around 33 cities I believe in total with several in the US, Australia, Hong Kong, South Arica and Canada.

Both Dundee and Perth also have multiple cities located around the world. Factoring in those that only put thier location as UK or Earth and you see what I mean.....lol

Most people that use the forum and are in your area and interested will see this and reply. You can also sift through the UK listings to see a who's who of who may be in your area, or do an "advanced member search" as I did.

Good luck

Hi All

I'm over near Elgin.

It would be great if we could get a bunch of the locals together for a drive one sunday.

Anthony,

If you look at the left on the black band at the top of each post, you'll see when it was posted.

The last post in this thread was four years ago!

Hi Anthony, there are a few up your neck of the woods, 8bit, SimonXJ and X300Drew to name a few

Simon is involved with the JDC up that way too I think

Just in case you missed it, we're looking to have a big meet at the beginning of June, see here https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/u...r-year-195835/

Approx 50+ cars and 120+ members, 8bit and SimonXJ from your area are coming.
You'd be more than welcome

Jim
