P0103 restricted performance issue.
 

I have a 2007 jaguar xj tdvi, 90k miles and runs really well with one exception.... I get an intermittent P0103 code that puts my car into "restricted performance" mode. If I stop the car and switch off ignition and restart it clears and runs great again until the next time.
So far I have checked pipes for leaks, changed air filter twice, fitted new jaguar air mass sensor, checked all wires and connections to it ... All to no avail as each time I think I have it sorted it comes back .
Can I disconnect the air mass sensor somehow without putting it into restricted performance ?
