17th July - XJ X350 / X358 only meet Highest pub in England
The intention is just a plain ole meet event, no raffles, no prizes, no sponsors etc, just us and our cars getting together with like minded owner members, take some pics, have some craic / banter and have to have a convoy run too of course!!
I could bring the forum banner which we could all sign of course and that is about it.
Now 4 XJ's would be a fantastic sight, a dozen or more would be an amazing sight to see together for pics and also in convoy.
Who would be up for this?

If you look through the threads in the UK & Eire section you will see there is a number of events that have happened/or due to happen. Currently there are a few events in the planning stages run by Jim, myself and a few others.. it is well worthwhile to locate one of these events you can get to, and register your interest even if the event is a while off. We have everything from small Jaguar model specific meets through to large (200+) open to all events, you are sure to find something that matches what you would like, and as a general rule most of the events are even free to sign up for and attend :-)

It's almost the end of the year - can everyone please let me know about any up and coming events in the U.K. for 2017, that we should be listing for everyone.

As soon as I have the details of the events you want listed I will get this thread up to date for you all.

I will be in the UK April of this year. Will be participating in a factory tour, perhaps Solihull or Castle Bromwich. If there are any other events I would be interested as well. Thank you.

Forum Meet/Run Penrith to Haydon Bridge Sunday July 16th 2017
Rich (Ashanti) and I have been talking for a little while now about an informal meet / run event shortly after Crieff. This isn't designed to be similar to the event just held last Sunday, more an impromptu meet and run event, a convoy of like minded enthusiasts from Penrith to Haydon Bridge. The plan is to meet at KFC, Bridge Lane, Penrith, CA11 8HW which is just off Jctn 40 of the M6 Link We'll be looking to meet there at 10.00am and congregate, gathering the convoy together in preparation for the run. The designated route will be along the A686 from Penrith with the ultimate destination being the Anchor Hotel at Haydon Bridge. The Anchor hotel seemingly does a nice Sunday roast from 12pm, £10.50 per person www.anchorhotelhaydonbridge.com . Full event and signup info here: https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/u...2017-a-183377/

Run / Meet Glasgow to Fort William 22nd July 2018
This event is being run by Jim, and will have you travelling through some of the most beautiful countryside in the UK (just my personal opinion before anyone comments - Steve) and is highly recommended for anyone that loves a road trip. Please see what Jim has to say below, and you can access the thread via the link further down:
Hi all, well had a wee thought earlier about another few events, but after a recent trip I thought to myself, why not one of my favourite trips that everyone can experience?
I'm thinking of Stirling to Fort William, meeting at Stirling services as it's just so handy and travelling from there.
The plan would be to meet at 8.30am to travel to Fort William arriving around 11.30am and head for lunch to the Ben Nevis Inn at around 12pm Sunday 22nd July
