X type 2.0 deisel jag wont start
 

i stopped at some traffic lights the jag cut out and now wont start. i have checked that there is fuel getting to the injectors. when turning over it trys to start but wont catch. any advice would be great.

Diesel owners are in the minority on the X-Type section but it's still the best place to ask this question.

The first culprit to check is the EGR Valve but low fuel pressure from a faulty pump, blocked filter or a leaking injector are also possibilities.
