Any Denver XF-R owners out there?
 

I'm currently in the market for an XF-R and stopped by Sill Terhar this afternoon to check out one of the XF Supercharged to get a feel for the interior and check out the London Tan color (what I'm looking for). Was very impressed with them, while I've stopped in before when picking up a friend (they are also a Volvo dealer) this was the first time as a customer. As soon as I mentioned I'd be trading my RS4 for an XF-R it was "right this way sir, let me introduce you to the owner". All the while being very low pressure and very knowledgeable about the car (but I did seem to know a bit more about the R than they did!). But I digress.

Given the extremely low build numbers there isn't one within 600 miles for me to actually drive. And while I wouldn't expect anyone here to turn their car over to a complete stranger if someone would be willing to give me a ride in one I'd do all I could to return the favor (you're welcome to ride/drive my RS4 and/or ride in my Exige all day long). I can also provide a bottle of your favorite poison.

I'm most concerned that I'll miss my manual transmission (already have another thread on this) but I was rather impressed with the ZF for an autobox. I think, if I like the exhaust note and power enough that I could forego that for my daily driver.

Looking to find one before the spring so no real rush...

I know member Rakka is local and has one, albeit not stock. I believe he responded to your thread in the XF sub-forum; it might be worthwhile to shoot him a pm.

CarMax has an XF-R @ their South Broadway dealership FWIW

Too bad it's the most boring/awful combination, silver with black interior. I'm specifically looking for black with red interior (and I fully realize it'll take a while to find it). From what I've seen Carmax has had that car for several months now...

Yea, it's been there for a while.

Well I thought I'd post a quick update here as I just recently picked up a 2011 Black / Red XF-R. In short it's a stunning car and has surpassed every expectation I had. Every time I get in it I think "really, this is my car?!?"

So if there are any other Denver owners out there we should start the Colorado XF-R owner group. So far I think there are 2 of us!
