FL - Free code reading and software update

Just putting this out there. If enough people, to make it worthwhile, would like to get a meet together somewhere, I would be willing to give my time and knowledge to use for scanning for codes (engine, trans, airbag, headlamp levelling, climate control etc). Also time and weather permitting, I will also reflash ECM/TCM to latest levels. Also, headlamps pointing at ground? If software, I will programme the lamps levelling module. Software updates are for 2002 X and up, 2003 and up S and XK and 2004 and up XJ. All others would be welcome for scanning codes etc.
I think this would be a great opportunity for all of us to meet some good people, possibly networking, and for all to get an idea of what happens to your cars when a tech actually is working on them for these types of issues. Free is always good right?
Oh wait....let me revise.....will work for coffee.....lol

Very gracious of you, nice offer. Don't know if I'll make it down there, but thanks.

I'm actually doing pretty well right now, haven't had any strange behavior since the reach motor failure. Glad you started a meet up for your area, instead of just looking at each others cars, there will be troubleshooting to look forward to. Sounds like fun, wish I were closer just to meet up.

Lol Matt I was talking to 03str. If you feel like cruising on out here, South Florida is helluva lot different than Texas. Maybe you could make a little vacation trip?

I'd hate to waste your time with just one car. I would wait until we could set up a meet with as many Jags as possible.

That would be great, I'd love to go, but I still have a few weeks left for school. I'm not out till end of April/early May. I have to get the passenger air bag light to stop coming on. =/

S-Type - you may need a seat kit.

I was putting it out there for all. If we can get something together that is a convenient time location etc for all, then lets do it. Just think it would be cool to meet folks and help out a bit. I think it needs to be somewhere midway for all.

What exactly is a "seat kit"?

FJT - The offer is very kind, I'd love to bring my husband and make a vacation out of it. Not sure where others are, I am in Northern VA but willing to drive. I have family in Cape Canaveral and friends in West Palm. Summer would be best. I'll just watch this space until then.

K9 would be great to see you down here. The more the merrier.

03, Seat kit is the weight sensing bladder. But wait......what airbag light is on? Passenger or drivers?

FJT hasn't posted here since 2010, I think you'd be best to look for another solution.
