Bay area tensioner change?

Hello everyone!

Is there a good shop that can replace my timing chain tensioners in my '01 XJ8? Preferably one that charges less than 2,500? My local shop is charging me 5,000 which seems a bit excessive.

Thanks! :)

Delongs automotive did mine for less, but they are super busy right now as they had to move into a smaller shop due to rent increases.

Not super local to Napa but J and G Automotive in San Rafael is an exceptionally good Jaguar/British car shop. Trained at Jaguar, etc., they know these cars backwards and forwards, are nice to work with and, while I can't speak to their price for changing timing chain tensioner's, they have fair rates compared with other shops in town and, unlike some of the shops, always do the work correctly the first time. They take excellent care of our 3 Jags. Can't recommend them highly enough.

If that's uppers only, even $2500 is excessive.
