Seller wants $1000.
I checked kbb good condition, it is $1500.
I would pay 500, probably. Lots of cosmetic problems, peeling clear coat, headliner needs replacement.
the car was in IL, some rust probably there.
how much would you pay?

If it runs smoothly and drives and handles ok I would give $500. Any idea what the story is on the rebuilt title and how long ago it was?

Seller said, she had good title in another state, then she moved to FL and they gave her "rebuilt" title.
Registered in FL in 2015 after Illinois. That means damage was not later than in 2015. Maybe previous owner drove to FL and had accident here.

If the car runs and drives fine and the interior isn't trashed then I don't see a grand being an unreasonable price. Look at what a new XE costs.

Something about that just sounds sketchy to me. But, if you only are out a few hundred dollars, it's not exacly the end of the world if you have problems with it. Plus, it kind of sounds like you are a glutton for punishment when it comes to tinkering with old cars. For some reason I just have a feeling that you are going to buy it no matter what anyone on here would say. Just go for it.

Daytona Beach FL craigslist. I don't want it. Add says 1600, but seller wanted 1000.
I would pay today 300.
