I have got my 05 x-type about 4,000 miles ago. Car has 48,000 miles on it. As I was driving down the freeway I got a message about the cruise not available. This happens only after driving about 30 mins or so.....then today my wife put car in park and she pushes the brake to put the car in drive and it will not come out of park.


Weird...I read about vacuum leaks....etc.

Is it possible that not coming out of park and cruise not available are both due to a brake switch?
