2005 X-Type 2.5L Manual - 70,000 mile question
I have a 2005 Jaguar x-type 2.5 manual. I am going in for my usual end of year 10,000 mile check up and my car is now at 70,000 miles.
The owner's handbook recommendeds that I should renew my spark plugs, fuel filter and rear accessory belt drive at 70,000 miles. I have read on this site (jaguarforums) that if I do these things, I should also get the intake manifold gaskets replaced (upper and lower) and get the IMT O-rings replaced as well.
If I am getting this much work done, I think it would be best to make sure I am taking care of everything all at once. Is there any other work that I should get done at the same time? Should I get the knock sensor replaced? Are there any other seals that should be replaced as well?
Any advice is greatly appreciated from anyone who has been there/done that and now has the wisdom to share. Thank you all for any help you can give.
