Hey Chris, probably to do with your air con system
How often do you use it? If its not used for long periods, bacteria build up in the system and it can smell like rotten eggs, cabbages etc
That may be your problem!

Took 10 mins and the onlyeffort you need to be able to use it is being able to depress a nozzle which then locks into place.

Mine was done "properly" on my drive (its all the same stuff..kills the bacteria)..cost less than a tenner

Thats why I said " properly " as I'm pretty sure its the same product with about 200% added on to the cost passed on to us.

Is there a cabin filter in the car or not? I still have never seen an answer to the questions posted on here about them and nobody has a replacement filter that i've been able to find?
