Battery discharge time when parked up

How long can you leave your X-Type parked up before the battery goes flat?

I don't have any additional equipment fitted that would bleed the battery.

I am finding that the battery is flat if I leave it for 10 days without taking it out and that is on a battery that was replaced last year.

The maintenance guy says that is normal but I am not sure if they are just avoiding replacing under warranty.

That is not normal. My Buick sits for monts at a time and
the battery does not go dead.

Thats not normal and i would suspect you have bad battery cables, common x type issue. And the battery is nver fully charge, it goes to a voltage range that wakes up the cars electrical system and runs the battery down the rest of the way. And every time you run a battery down you effectively kill have of its reserve power. Do voltage drops on the cables when hot and or get a battery tender and dont worry about it anymore. Thyere cheap $30-40 and youll always have a fully charged battery
