Default Boot/trunk illumination lamp removal

Folks,

I've searched through the forum, and I can't find out how I'm supposed to pry the inside boot lamp in order to change the bulb.

I'm wary of breaking *any* parts on this car - and I don't have manual that might tell me how to do this (supposedly) very simple thing

Thanks in advance!

Hi on my saloon I think you have to pull open the side trim. The back of the light fitting is then exposed and the bulb is easy to remove. its a festoon. I dontknow if the fitting can be eased out.

The whole lamp unit just clips in place. It can be removed by easing one end out, then the other - either end first, although one end's clip gives more easily than the other! Strong fingertips or a broadbladed screwdriver will do the job in seconds.
