Can I use 16' wheels?

I have a X-Type 2.5 estate from 2008 (facelift), can I use 16' Wheels for my wintertyres?

The standard alloys in early years were 16" x 6.5" so I see no reason it shouldn't work. Tire size is 205/55/R16.

Here are the X-Type wheels, categorized by size, in case you want OEM ones.

The Owner's manual recommends Pirelli 205/55R 16 or
Continental 205/55R 16.

Don't buy Pirelli's i would recommend bridgestones. I've had nothing but trouble with Pirelli's. I've fitted bridgestones to my cars and bikes for years until I got my cat and put Pirelli's on, never again
