Hello you all, please help me with your thoughts and experience in this dilemma:

Also I apologize that if by mistake I posted these questions on a wrong forum:

(1) can I replace my 2007 Jaguar coolant return hose (lower expansion tank hose) with a URO part or I must only replace it with a Jaguar part (both C2S23485)?
My Jaguar dealership in NY closed permanently and other Jaguar dealers sell their this type of hoses for $70-80 plus shipping $20, e/g/ about $100 while the URO coolant return hose costs $15-17 and has splendid reviews.

(2) Due the lowering the coolant in the reservoir under the hose level can be done without draining the whole coolant system (which I did two months ago when replacing the radiator upper hose), can I do this myself?

Thank you so much Spikepaga. Now for Question #2: Once I got the Jaguar hose, can I change it myself the way I said, simply lowering the reservoir coolant under the hose mouth level? Thanks.
