car stuttering after installing new fuel filter, help

I installed a new fuel filter and now my jag has the erk and jerk like the fuel is having problems pushing through, would anyone have any help on this.

My be a silly question...have you changed the fuel filter?

When you change the pump, you stir up the crud in the tank; best to run a quart or two into a gas can, then change the filter.
