Default Advise on ignition coil replacement for '02 2.5L

Hello forum,

It's time to replace the plugs and I am thinking about replacing the coils while they are in there. I have seen various threads when folks stressed the need for EO parts and where to get them. OE parts were stressed because folks were having trouble with the results - apparently some had more problem than when they started.

Is there some voodoo here that I should know about before ordering these parts?

Ignition Coil - Jaguar (C2S42673)

Thank you for any insight.
Chris

If they're working now and if there was easy access to all coils I'd get one good spare and just keep using the old ones.

Where access to some is awkward (like under a manifold) I'd maybe buy N (here, probably 3) and swap them in but keep the old ones just in case. Then if one of the remaining old ones fails I'd use one of those spares.

Depends a bit how much you hate doing work!
