RE: check engine light
jeez this issue comes up several times a week, p0171, p0174 lean engine and worse now that cold weather is here, replace IMT orings, crankcase vent(PCV) hose, and brake booster vacuum line from intake to brake booster. Number 1 issue is imt's but all 3 of these are very well known cuplrits to us techs, so just save aggravation and change all 3 instead of chasing your tail

RE: check engine light
could be the cold guy that checked it didn't give me a number and i didn't think to ask. at the time this happened it was around 13 degree's F. here in the great state of indiana. first time i had that happen. thought maybe it was a vac line starting to leak but it has been to cold and wet to look.

RE: check engine light
mine comes on when it's below 20 degrees. goes off after a day or so.
If it starts coming on when it's warm... then I'll worry. |
