Coolant expansion tank issue

Coolant expansion tank issue
I have been slowly sorting out some minor issues regarding rattling/vibration issues, such as dash vibration noise at certain engine rpm speeds.
Regarding the Coolant tank, the coolant tank is installed correctly, but it is loose on the back side of it, next to the windscreen.
The tank is fixed in correctly but the rear is held by a tongue that slots in to a 'pocket' that is on the inner wing.
The plastic tongue is smaller in height compared to the pocket, so there is vertical movement, am I missing a rubber bushing to pad the top and bottom of this pocket ?
Due to the vertical play, the tank is resting on the brake servo.
Any ideas ?
Paul.

Just a note on those expansion tanks, if the car is getting close to 100K it is prudent to replace it, I worked for a car hire company a few ears ago and after they had lost a few of the Mondeo engines from coolant loss it was company policy to change out the tanks at that Kilometers. As you will (should) be aware the X type utilises the Mondeo tank.

Yes I am well aware of the tank issue.
As I bought the car at 130,000+ miles, and the tank is very clean, it looks practically new, with no hint of any cracks or discolouration.
I suspect it has been replaced, I do take great interest in my gauges, as well as regularly check under the bonnet.
