Default defrost grill removal

Do the grills attach by the button on the outboard of these? Just pull up on the round part on top?
I hate to run one doing it wrong, and I know me....I'd look at it right after and say, "Oh, that's how it works." Right. That's what I'd say.

Default Grilles

They do pull up and out. Try to remove the blanking plug first. Round button on either end. Then u have to push or pull left and right while lifting it up. It has a type of little tab on the end that goes into the opening to keep that side down

Thanks much. The push pull part may be easy as I'm replacing these because both sides have snapped in two over the years.

Perfect, thanks. Wonder if the dealer ever did this without telling my wife? Oh, well, the diagram helps a lot.

Well, someone had modified the prongs on one plug with a screw. Not the TSB answer.
