My 03 X type has the typical badly fitting steering wheel air bag cover. I have seen a couple of replacement units on ebay. However I also read the replacements fit as bad. Can anyone give me some insight if there is a fix or is it a live with thing. How about a later steering wheel which has a different design and different remote button placement. It takes some surgery to make the cruise controls play properly on the '02s and '03s, but otherwise, a direct bolt on!

The radio controls play right out of the box.
