Change shops or DIY.
For DIY get a cheap OBD tool and use live data to see fuel trims - read forum messages about how & those codes. Stop swapping parts at silly cost and find out what is actually wrong. |

OBD TOOL PROVIDED CODES P0171 & P0174.... Mechanic hopefully has been looking "live data to see fuel trims" what should he be doing~ update last two days engine has stayed off!>>>>>>>>>>>? |
P0171 & P0174 are nearly always a vacuum leak. Just do a search here and read the conditions and results. There are too many threads to repost.

+1 above
A common cause of those codes has been the 1 in dia crankcase breather hose from the cambox nearest the radiator to the inlet manifold. It wears and splits on its underside out of sight |
Also check the brake booster check valve and check the accordian hose between the MAF sensor and the throttle body to make sure it isn't split or loose.
