Wankel, I think you need to ask yourself if you are still meeting the law by removing the side marker lights. They are there to provide the running light indication out to the sides. Due to how the front running lights are recessed inside the outer lens, there would be no light that would extend out to the sides. This can lead to a safety issue at night due to the relative lack of light out the sides. Also, I think the car might look a little funny if you only replace the front corner pieces and not the rears too.
I think a lot of it will depend on what the local laws are. If you have an annual state inspection, you may find it more of a PITA to have as some shops may know better and require you to put the factory lights back on. That would then require pulling the bumper covers off twice a year to put the factory pieces back on. But, that is up to you.

To be quite honest I don't care if the law states they need to be there, they are ugly and I want to get rid of them. I will be doing both front and rear by the way, all I wanted to know is if its possible. But im assuming it is, so I will be purchasing them soon with pics to follow.
I also already ordered the side fender markers in clear, should look excellent when its all in place.

For anyone else that would like to do the same thing, here you can purchase the fronts - http://www.minagallery.com/jagxp/Jag...mperblades.htm
Seems like they don't carry the rear however.
