Default Greetings!! My First Post

Greetings!! My First Post-photo.jpg

Hey enthusiasts!! I recently purchased a 2007 jag x-type and there is no aux jack in the stereo. However, I did some searching in my glove compartment and there seems, to me at least, an audio device that is attached to the back of the stereo. I took a picture of it and I don't know how to make it work. It has a jack that plugs into the headphone jack of my iphone. I read about transmitters that iphones and mp3s can play music through the stereo through a radio frequency or just a aux jack that works for iphones. I am lost and if anyone can tell me what it is and more importantly how it works, please let me know. Thanks in advance!

I dont recognise it. But it may be that one of your radio stations is already tuned to it. play a track on your phone through the box and search the preprogrammed radio stations?

Does it have a model number you can search on google?

Take it into a car audio shop and see if they've ever seen one before.
